Why does watching a dog be a dog fill one with happiness?"
Scooty Gets Excited for Afternoon Walk
Scooty is a dog living in San Diego, CA. She requires wheelchair assistance, but that doesnāt stop her from getting incredibly excited about her daily walks. As soon as her wheelchair emerges, she jumps into it quickly and handles the front steps like a professional. Once sheās on the sidewalk, she loves to go fast.
Her owner says, āScooter is mostly paralyzed but absolutely loves to walk, so she gets excited when she puts her wheelchair on to go for a run.ā Seeing the unstoppable spirit of the dog is a mood-booster for anyone who meets her in person or watches her videos on YouTube.
What is a Pet Emergency List?
A pet emergency list is an incredibly important tool, especially if you have plans to leave your pet with a sitter this summer on your family vacations. This list covers instructions for any emergencies that might come up while youāre away. Not only will this set your sitter up for success, but it will give you peace of mind while youāre away.
If there are any natural catastrophes, itās good to have this list and any emergency supplies in one easy-to-reach spot. You should provide records for your pup to prove ownership and any critical vet records. Print one photo you can use if there is no internet and you need help locating your dog.
Taking 10 minutes before you leave town to gather all the necessary information will be worth it if anything comes up while youāre gone. Document your dogās breed information, age, microchip information, emergency contacts who can step in and care for your pet, the contact information of your vet, and all medication instructions. Make notes about commands that your dog knows and anything that might give them anxiety or cause a reaction.
This will be incredibly helpful to your sitter, so they will have less need to check in with you while youāre gone and focus more on your pupās happiness.
