So many of us look at our dogs with hearts in our eyes, but will they help us find love? The challenge of creating a dating profile is figuring out how to portray yourself to potential partners. If you’ve been wondering whether you should include your prized pup in your featured photo, the short answer is yes.

There was a survey done in 2023 that found ⅔ of the 1,000 respondents said they were more likely to match with someone on a dating app if they included a dog in their profile picture. Owning a dog shows a level of responsibility and commitment. Showing off your dog shows that you are caring and put someone’s needs before your own.
