The Easiest Way to Make Dog Treats
Making homemade dog treats doesnāt need to feel like a big project. If you have a blender and a few dog-safe ingredients, you can whip up fresh snacks in minutes. Most blender treats start with simple bases like plain yogurt, banana, pumpkin, peanut butter, or oats. These are easy ingredients dogs already love and digest well.
From there, itās all about mixing and pouring. Blend everything until smooth, spoon the mixture into silicone molds or an ice cube tray, and freeze. Thatās it. For pups who prefer crunch, a thicker blend baked at a low temp works great for soft cookies or bite-sized biscuits. These treats are especially nice for dogs with sensitive stomachs since you control exactly what goes in.
Blender treats are also good for enrichment. Freeze the mixture inside a Kong, smear it on a lick mat, or add a cube to their slow feeder for a little extra joy in the day. Quick to prep and pup-approved, homemade treats donāt get simpler than this.

The Blender Making Life Easier for Dog Parents (We Tested It)
Our team at Daily Dig tries a lot of new gear for our dogs, but Beastās mini blender has become one of our favorites. Hereās why we love it:
Itās genuinely cute: This blender set is compact and comes in five colors, so it can easily match your kitchenās aesthetic.
It makes a variety of things: From post-walk smoothies to peanut-butter-banana dog treats. The three blend-and-go cups also let us customize how much we make.
We can take it anywhere: The drinking lid, carry cap, and straw-cap system lets us carry it on the go. Itās perfect for taking a smoothie on a dog walk or hike.
It fixes the most annoying blender problems: Weāve found that most blenders get stuck on ice and are hard to clean. The Mini blends everything smoothly in seconds, and the cups, lids, and caps are all top-rack dishwasher-safe.
We donāt have to worry about it breaking: The Miniās 2-year warranty and 30-day return allowance make it feel like a safe choice.
And the timing works out: Beastās Black Friday Sale is offering 20% off with free shipping until December 7.

Refresh Your Dogās Walks With These Ideas
Walking your dog shouldnāt feel like repeating the same loop on autopilot. A few small additions can make the whole routine feel fresh, for you and your dog. Try weaving in short obedience moments between stretches of relaxed sniffing. A couple sits, downs, or āwatch meā cues add structure without turning the walk into a training marathon. Many dogs also love tiny challenges, like hopping onto a low wall, balancing on a log, or exploring a new surface.
Changing the scenery helps, too. Swap the neighborhood loop for a quiet meadow, a forest trail, or even a calm city block if your dog is comfortable. New sights and smells turn an ordinary walk into a mini adventure. You can also bring a friend or meet up with another dog if your pup likes company. Itās a great way to break up the rhythm.
And donāt forget snacks for both of you. Pack a smoothie or iced coffee for yourself and a pup-safe lickable treat or frozen chew for your dog. Changing things up goes a long way in making your daily walk feel like something you both look forward to.
