This Dog Is Everyone’s Little Shadow

Some dogs just have to be part of everything, and Moo is a perfect example. In this viral video, he watches his owner closely, then jumps in the second something interesting happens. Whether it’s a candle lid, a random piece of plastic, or even an old sock, Moo treats every moment like it’s worth investigating.

It might seem like he’s just being nosy, but this kind of behavior is actually pretty common. Dogs are naturally curious, and they also take a lot of cues from their owners. When you show excitement about something (even if it’s nothing), your dog often reads that as a signal that it’s important. Add in their strong sense of smell and desire to be involved, and suddenly everything becomes their business.

This kind of “shadow behavior” is also tied to bonding. Dogs who follow you around or jump into what you’re doing are often just trying to stay connected and included.

For dogs like Moo, it’s about being part of the moment with you.

Dog of the Day, Ringo

Meet Ringo, a spotted standout and proud Dalmatian, submitted by Daily Dig reader Joy.

With his classic black-and-white coat and those sweet, curious eyes, Ringo turns heads wherever he goes. Dalmatians are known for their energy and personality, and Ringo looks like he brings plenty of both, paired with a gentle, lovable charm that’s impossible to miss.

A Snoring Solution That Doesn’t Affect Your Sleep Comfort or Relationship

For many of us, falling asleep is hard. More than any other time of day, comfort is crucial. CPAP machines and mandibular advancement devices (MADs) may help people get more rest once they’re asleep, but they’re so uncomfortable to deal with while awake. Even a supportive bed partner prefers something that doesn’t get in the way of cuddling and goodnight kisses. With the eXciteOSA from Spring Sleep, users treat the root cause of mild obstructive sleep apnea during the day, in just 20 minutes. Once bedtime arrives, sleeping is as simple as getting comfortable and closing your eyes.

Does Your Dog Need A Bed?

Most dogs will find a place to curl up no matter what, but that doesn’t always mean it’s the best option for them. Sleeping on hard floors can put pressure on joints over time, while overly soft beds don’t always give the support dogs actually need. A well-made bed, especially one with memory foam or supportive fill, helps distribute weight evenly and gives dogs a more comfortable place to truly rest.

There’s also a natural instinct behind it. Dogs are den animals, which means they’re wired to look for a space that feels safe, warm, and theirs. That’s why so many end up claiming your couch, your laundry pile, or your side of the bed. Giving them their own spot doesn’t just keep them comfortable. It gives them a place they can rely on.

The right bed can also make a noticeable difference in everyday health. Supportive beds can help with joint strain, especially for older dogs or those with mobility issues, and can make it easier for them to get up and settle down. Even younger dogs benefit from proper support as they grow.

It’s one of those simple upgrades that improves your dog’s comfort, routine, and overall well-being.

The Work That Got You Here Is Holding You Back

What built your business won’t scale it.

The habits, responsibilities, and daily involvement that once drove growth can quickly become the very things that slow it down.

The real shift is letting go of the work you’ve outgrown.

The free resource From Operator to Owner: How to Exit the Middle helps leaders identify what to delegate, what to retain, and how to move forward with clarity.

BELAY supports that transition by matching you with U.S.-based Executive Assistants who bring the judgment and reliability needed to take work off your plate, without adding full-time overhead.
