Sundays are for celebrating our favorite four-legged friends—and that’s exactly what we’re doing today! In this edition, we’re diving into Minnie’s ever-growing blanket obsession, uncovering a lesser-known cheesy snack your pup will love, and shining the spotlight on a very special Dog of the Day.

This Chihuahua Lives in a Fluffy Fortress

Minnie, our resident blanket queen, has perfected the art of burrowing. At 9 years old, this Chihuahua mix takes coziness to a whole new level—if there’s a blanket in sight, you can bet she’s under it.

In fact, she’s usually tucked beneath at least two, transforming any couch or bed into her personal den. Before sitting down, we’ve learned to do a quick “Minnie check” to avoid disturbing her royal nap.

This love of burrowing isn’t just a Minnie quirk—it’s a classic Chihuahua trait, dating back to their ancestors who sought warmth in underground dens.

The Cheesy Treat Your Dog Will Love

Cottage cheese isn’t just for humans—it’s a tail-wagging, protein-packed snack your pup can enjoy too! Loaded with calcium and probiotics, it supports strong bones, muscle growth, and a happy belly. Plus, its creamy texture makes it an instant hit.

Since it’s lower in lactose than other dairy, most dogs digest it just fine. A spoonful can soothe an upset stomach or give their meal a tasty upgrade. Just don’t go overboard—too much can still cause tummy trouble.

Stick to plain, unsalted cottage cheese (just make sure no Xylitol is added as this is toxic to dogs!). A spoonful mixed into their meal or served as a topper can be a tasty, nutritious boost.

Dog of the Day: Meet Nova!

Meet Nova, an 8-month-old pitbull mix with loads of energy and sweetness to match! This playful pup is always on the go, bringing excitement and joy wherever she is.

It looks like Nova loves her blankets nearly as much as Minnie! ❤️
