Friendship can come in the most unexpected forms, and at the Irkutsk Zoo, we’re witnessing an adorable example.

A three-legged lion named Fortis, two tiger twins, Lavanda and Liana, and a Labrador named Elsa have become the best of friends. Fortis, who lost his leg due to an early injury, initially struggled with his recovery. To help him through, zoo staff introduced Elsa, who quickly became his companion.

Soon, the twin tigers joined the group, and the bond between them grew stronger. Together, these animals have been inseparable since July of last year. Despite their different species, the three-legged lion, tigers, and dog spend their days playing and enjoying each other’s company, proving that friendship knows no bounds.
