Hospital Dog Receives A Standing Ovation
Tambor thought he was showing up for another regular shift at ClĆnica MedellĆn. Instead, the beloved therapy dog walked through the hospital doors to a standing ovation from the people he had comforted for seven years.
The basset hound had become a familiar source of calm throughout the hospital. He visited patients before medical procedures, leaned against healthcare workersā legs when they needed support, and brought quiet comfort in moments that did not need many words. So when it was time for him to retire, the staff made sure his final day felt as special as the care he had given them.
Tamborās goodbye included cheers in the hallway, heartfelt speeches, favorite snacks, and a certificate honoring his work. He headed home with his family after one last round of love, leaving behind the kind of paw print that does not fade.

What Your Dog Loves About Squeaky Toys
Squeaky toys may not be every dog parentās favorite sound, but for dogs, that little squeak can be very exciting. The noise taps into their natural chase-and-capture instincts, which can make the toy feel more interesting and āaliveā during playtime.
The squeak also gives dogs instant feedback. Every bite creates a sound, which keeps them mentally engaged and encourages them to keep playing. For some pups, squeaky toys can also help with boredom, give them a safe outlet for chewing, and create a fun bonding moment during fetch or tug.
Safety still matters, especially for dogs who love to destroy their toys. Choose the right size, look for non-toxic materials, and supervise play if your dog tries to rip toys apart or get to the squeaker inside. That way, their favorite noisy toy can stay fun, stimulating, and safe.
