The accuracy varies wildly, the commentary is extremely invested, and the comment sections are genuinely delightful. Whether any of them actually know something we don't, we may never know. But in a World Cup full of surprises, we're not ruling anyone out.

Summer road trips with your dog are one of the best things about the season. But making sure your pup is genuinely safe in the car, not just along for the ride, takes a little planning. A few things that make a real difference before you pull out of the driveway:

• Secure them in the back seat. An unrestrained dog in a moving vehicle is a safety risk for everyone. A crash-tested crate is the best option. • Bring the essentials. Fresh water, a portable bowl, their regular food, any medications, and a familiar blanket or toy can make a long trip feel much more comfortable.

The goal is for every car ride to feel safe and comfortable for your dog. A little preparation up front means less stress for both of you and a whole lot more fun on the road.
