It turns out your dog’s next favorite toy might be in your recycling bin. One pet owner on TikTok shared a genius way to reuse an empty toilet paper roll, and dogs are loving it.

The idea is simple: cut holes in the center of the roll, fold in one end, drop in a few treats, then seal the other end. Your pup gets a fun challenge, and you get a free enrichment toy. Some pet parents skip the holes to make it last even longer.

It’s a fun boredom-buster that also cuts down on waste. Instead of tossing used rolls, you’re giving them new life and skipping the plastic packaging of store-bought toys.
