The Ancient Love Story Between Dogs and Humans
Most of us donāt need a translator to understand our dogās mood. A wagging tail, a hopeful stare, a grumble from under the couch; it all just clicks. We grew up around dogs, and somehow, we learned their language without even trying.
This understanding goes way back. Archaeologists have found humans and dogs buried together as far back as 14,000 years ago, displaying how strong the companionship is between humans and dogs. A relationship rooted in love, not just usefulness.
Genetic studies even suggest dogs have built-in social sweetness, similar to our own. Some early canines gazed at us with a kind of curiosity and warmth we couldnāt resist, and we welcomed them in.
Even now, dogs donāt need to herd or hunt to earn a place beside us. Theyāre family. They make us laugh, comfort us without words, and somehow always know just when we need them.

These Star Pups Have Their Own Fanbase
They walk red carpets, sit front row at fashion week, and even grace the cover of Vogue. For some celebrity dogs, fame runs in the family, but their charm is all their own.
Chris Evans' rescue pup Dodger once stole the internet in a matching sweater from Knives Out, while Demi Mooreās 1.2-pound Pilaf has visited museums, flown to Europe 14 times, and landed a digital Dogue cover. Then thereās Brisket, Glen Powellās cowboy-hat-wearing sidekick who joined him on the Twisters press tour.
Ariana Grandeās Toulouse is no stranger to late-night TV, and Jennifer Anistonās dogs Clyde and Lord Chesterfield even helped inspire a book and model a dog shampoo line.
Whether theyāre crashing interviews, attending weddings, or starring on Instagram, these dogs arenāt just tagging along; theyāre building empires of their own.
