Why Nail Trims Help Your Dog Feel Better
You know that click-click-click of paws on your kitchen floor? Itās cute until you realize it might mean your dogās nails are too long. Overgrown nails arenāt just noisy; they can actually mess with how your dog walks and cause discomfort you might not see right away.
If a nail curls toward the pad or taps when they walk, it may be time. A simple trick: place their paw flat in your hand. If the nails touch your palm, theyāre due for a trim. Left too long, nails can crack, get caught in carpets, or make your dog reluctant to walk.
For a more relaxed experience, trim a little at a time and follow each snip with praise or a treat. No need to rush. Just making this a regular part of your care routine can go a long way in keeping your pup comfy on their daily adventures.

Afraid To Trim Your Dogās Nails?
If trimming your dogās nails makes you nervous, youāre not alone! The fear of cutting too deep (and causing pain or bleeding) keeps a lot of pet parents from doing it themselves.
Thatās why the Zen Clipper Precise was designed to make pet nail trimming safer and easier. With its patented adjustable blade, you have full control over the amount of nail to clip, making it a perfect solution for pets of all sizes. It gently surrounds the nail and only clips what you want, even if your dog squirms.
It works for pets of all sizes, from tiny cats to big dogs, has etched measurements so you can get consistent results every time, and is built for both right- and left-handed users.
Zen Clipper Precise makes nail care easy, so your dog stays happy and you skip the stress (and the grooming fees).

Dog of the Day, Onyx āOnnieā Rose
Daily Dig reader Maria shared this irresistible close-up of Onnie, a 3.5-year-old rescue Sheepadoodle whoās equal parts heartthrob and household comedian.
Onnie is known for winning over hearts and stealing shoes, with the same effortless charm. Whether sheās curled up on the couch or greeting high school students with her signature smile, she brings warmth (and maybe a little sass) wherever she goes. Just donāt forget to offer her some cheese.
Thanks for sharing your sweet, snuggly star with us, Maria! Want your pup featured as the Daily Dig Dog of the Day? Send in a photo and a few fun factsāthey might be next!

Instagram-Famous Dog Steals the Show at Wedding
When your dogās got 550,000 followers, it only makes sense they get a starring role on your wedding day. For Jackie and Ben, that meant handing the rings to Lumi, their smiling dog, who joined their wedding wearing a custom tux.
Lumi trotted down the aisle like a true gentleman, tux and all, as nearly 200 guests laughed, clapped, and pulled out their phones. The couple celebrated his performance with a catered pup feast of filet of beef and potatoes, followed by Lumi-themed cake toppers and cardboard cutouts on the dance floor.
The 4-year-old pup became internet-famous in 2023 after Jackie shared a video of him riding in a backpack. His goofy charm and NYC adventures quickly made him a fan favorite.
Lumi even got his own āfirst lookā moment, joyfully bounding toward Jackie and Ben in their wedding attire. Itās safe to say he nailed his role and looked adorable doing it.
