What Breed Is Supermanās Dog Krypto?
Krypto the Superdog might be Supermanās most loyal sidekick, but you donāt need a cape or comic book to find a real-life version. While Kryptoās breed is never confirmed, his heroic mix of loyalty, smarts, and energy lives on in plenty of pups here on Earth.
Director James Gunn says the new movie version of Krypto was inspired by his own rescue dog, Ozu. Thatās why many experts believe Krypto is a mixed breed, and that makes sense. Mixed breeds often combine the best of many traits, from bravery to goofiness.
Looking for a dog with that Krypto spark? White German Shepherds are smart and courageous. Russell Terriers pack serious personality in a small frame. Great Pyrenees are protective, while Dalmatians, Labs, and Pit Bulls bring energy and heart.
A superdog doesnāt need superpowers, just a strong bond and a little room to zoom.

Dog of the Day, Potato
Todayās Dog of the Day is none other than Potato, Lisaās fluffball of joy and certified toy hoarder. With those soulful eyes, Potatoās clearly mastered the fine art of fetch (or at least posing adorably).
Sunlight? Check. Toy in mouth? Double check. Irresistible charm? Off the charts. We donāt know whatās cuter: Potatoās name or that āyou ready to play?ā face.

Many pet owners donāt realize that chronic illnesses (like diabetes or allergies) can cost far more over a petās lifetime than a single emergency.
Pet insurance could save you thousands in repeat treatments and costs, so youāre not forced to choose between your petās health and other important expenses. Check out Moneyās best pet insurance list to find plans starting at $10/month.

Does Your Dog Need A Buddy?
Some dogs are perfectly content with solo cuddle time. Others? Theyāre barking, digging, or clinging to your side because they might just need a friend. Experts say a lack of dog-to-dog interaction can lead to pent-up energy and some frustrating behaviors.
If your pup starts destroying toys (or your couch), it might not be mischief. It could be boredom. Puppies especially benefit from social play. They learn how to communicate, correct, and connect. Older dogs might not be as playful, but they can still enjoy the right kind of company.
Clingy behavior and nonstop barking can be signs too. The key is knowing what your individual dog needs and wants.
If itās time to socialize, try trainer-led classes, daycare, or even local meetup hikes. Safe, structured play helps pups thrive, and gives you both something to look forward to.
